POSITION SCOPE:
The Coordinator – Maintenance position is responsible for using knowledge of tractor trailer maintenance to complete all internal office processes to maintain the data integrity of maintenance systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Maintain asset management information systems. Track all tractors, trailers, lift trucks and industrial assets by location, type, and repair status
· Manage the Work Requisition – Work Order and PO process for shops and vendors using approved applications
· Maintain and update the Maintenance Operating System with updated record keeping – document control.
· Order Parts and maintain Inventory through inventory system.
· Interface with vendors on equipment repair
· Audit bills against estimates and purchases for accuracy
· Daily inventory workflow reporting
· Ensure equipment preventive maintenance schedule is maintained and communicated
· Maintain asset management information systems. Track all tractors, trailers, lift trucks and industrial assets by location, type, and repair status
· Assist in identifying new vendors to improve cost, quality of repair or timeliness of repair as needed
· Interface with Safety, HR, and Operations personnel on equipment issues
· Ability to work on XGS site while performing essential functions
· Update equipment in the system daily and assign to correct cost center
· Licensing and registration – includes uploading and updating database of registrations by equipment and attaching in Dossier.
· Other duties as assigned
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION:
· Commercial tractor trailer maintenance knowledge required
· 1-3 years of relevant tractor trailer maintenance or maintenance administration experience
· Ability to perform basic math
· Ability to communicate clearly - oral and in writing
· Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Sit for long periods of time.
· Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other office machines.
· Clear and understandable speaking voice for the purposes of telephone communication.
· Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
· Climb stairs.
· Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch.
· Correctable vision and hearing.

ENVIRONMENT
Most work is conducted in a comfortable office environment but exposure to site conditions may also occur. Personal protective equipment must be worn in all areas as required. Although the work usually is not considered inherently dangerous, must be careful while performing onsite services.
